Fire Protection Leader

We are looking for a Fire Protection Leader who will have overall responsibility for Smurfit Westrock Piteå's fire protection work.

As a Fire Protection Leader, you will be part of the Safety & Fire Protection department and collaborate with colleagues across the factory. The department handles issues related to work environment, safety, and fire protection.

Job Responsibilities

As a Fire Protection Leader, you are responsible for leading and developing Smurfit Westrock's systematic fire protection work. You monitor legislation in the area and ensure that fire protection routines and regulations are followed.

You participate in internal investigations and projects and maintain continuous cooperation with external parties such as municipalities, contractors, and authorities. Since Smurfit Westrock Piteå is part of a larger group, you are also responsible for keeping local operations updated on the group’s fire protection regulations and routines. You will be part of the factory's alarm organization regarding fire and medical alarms, and coordinate routines for these.

Your Profile

In addition to good teamwork skills, you are skilled at structuring your work and driving your processes forward. You take responsibility for your tasks and feel comfortable making decisions within your area.

We are looking for someone with a fire engineering degree or equivalent and several years of experience in preventive fire protection work.

As documentation and communication with both internal and external parties are important parts of the job, we expect you to have good computer skills and to be proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

You have a B driver's license. A C license is an advantage.
